State Company "Ukrspecexport" received the «IDEX» award
  The State Company "Ukrspecexport" has won the Most Innovative Stand award at the IDEX 2011 international exhibition of military equipment in Dubai (UAE). Ukraine is the seventh winner of IDEX-2011 defense show in this category. Before that the United States, Germany and the UAE had all received this award twice. State Company "Ukrspecexport" has been taking part in the IDEX International Defense Exhibition in the UAE since 1997.
Dmitro Peregudov was appointed as the Director General of the State Company "Ukspecexport"
  According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich of February 9 2011 № 182/2011 Dmitro Peregudov was appointed as the Director General of the State Company for Export and Import of Military and Special Products and Services.
  According to the previous Decree of the President of Ukraine of February 9 2011 № 181/2011 Dmitro Peregudov was dismissed from performance of duties of the Director General of the State Company for Export and Import of Military and Special Products and Services.
Andriy Klyuyev, the First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, has introduced the new management of the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" and State Company "Ukrspecexport"
  Andriy Klyuyev, the First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, has introduced Dmytro Salamatin, the Director General of the 'Ukroboronprom' State Concern, and Dmitro Peregudov, the Acting Director General of the State Company for Export and Import of Military and Special Products and Services to the staff of the SC 'Ukrspecexport'.
  Andriy Klyuyev congratulated Dmytro Salamatin and Dmytro Peregudov with the appointment to their new positions and wished them success. Responding to Mr. Klyuyev's speech Dmytro Peregudov thanked the country's leaders for their confidence and assured them of his willingness - in order to implement the President's and Government's policy aimed at the Defence Industry Complex - to make every effort to improve performance of the state enterprises effecting in military-technical cooperation with foreign countries and create necessary conditions for promotion of arms, military and special equipment produced in Ukraine on the world markets.
President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych vested the government with the power to establish the 'Ukroboronprom' State Economic Association
  The President Viktor Yanukovych vested the government with the power under the Decree "On Measures to Improve Effectiveness of the Activity of Defence Industry Complex of Ukraine' dated December 28, 2010, No.1245/2010, to establish the 'Ukroboronprom' State Economic Association.
  The President authorized the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine under the said Decree to implement the measures till January 10, 2011 aiming to merge the state enterprises effecting in military-technical cooperation with foreign countries in the field of development, manufacture, repair, upgrade and disposal of military equipment or ammunition, and etc. into the 'Ukroboronprom' State Economic Association. According to the Decree the Director General of the 'Ukroboronprom' State Economic Association is appointed as advised by the Prime Minister of Ukraine and resigned by the President of Ukraine. The head of state also authorised the government to take measures – within one month from the date of the 'Ukroboronprom' State Economic Association establishment – aiming to duly transfer to the latter the state-owned shares in the statutory fund of the joint-stock companies which are engaged in the same field of activity. The list of such companies should be appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers in association with the Ministry of Defence, the State Property Fund, the State Agency for the Management of the State Corporate Rights and Property, as well as the State Space Agency. Besides, Viktor Yanukovych ordered the government to develop and implement until July 1, 2011 the computerized information analysis reporting system concerning the activity of the defence industry enterprises.
  In pursuance of the Decree of the President of Ukraine the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted the Resolution 'On Establishment of the 'Ukroboronprom' State Concern' dated December 29, 2010, No.1221. According to the said document the Cabinet of Ministers resolved to merge 'Ukrspecexport', the state-owned company, and its subsidiaries into the 'Ukroboronprom' State Concern. In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers ordered the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the State Agency for the Management of the State Corporate Rights and Property, and the SC 'Ukrspecexport' to agree within two months, along with the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Space Agency and the State Property Fund of Ukraine, a list of enterprises that should additionally be joined to the Concern, and to submit a draft of Ukroboronprom's Charter.
  Moreover, under the Resolution, the Concern should be registered within three months and a draft decision on expanding the list of state-owned enterprises in its (the Concern's) structure should be submitted for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
  Thus, under the Decree No.2/2011 dated January 4, 2011, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych appointed Dmytro Salamatin as the Director General of the 'Ukroboronprom' State Concern.
